Simply....DELICIOUS!!! This restaurant has 3 key elements of success; an amazing chef, an outstanding server by the name of RAJ, and a very good ambience. My wife and I were delighted with the service and recommendations given by RAJ. We will certainly be visiting for more! Thank you so much!

This is truly great Indian food! Our usual place in RVC has not been open the past few months due to COVID but we were happy to find Raagini open and available to fill our Indian food cravings! We have done pickup each time and its truly a contactless experience. You enter through a separate door, have 0 interaction and your food is sitting there for you.
As of the food - its SO SO good. We are creatures of habit so always get the same things: shrimp saag, chicken tikka and cauliflowers app (we've tried all of them and they do not disappoint). All of the food has great flavor that make you want to drink the sauce or soak it up with the rice that comes with the entrees.
I must say, we've become so obsessed with this place that we have started ordering from here on at least a weekly basis. Looking forward to already placing our order this weekend :)
I also notice that some are posting that this place is BYOB. Cannot wait to partake n the future!

Wow, this was THE BEST takeout we have gotten in a long time! I am so thankful for amazing takeout and contactless delivery during this quarantine.
Highly recommend the vegetable samosas: the filling was amazing and the outside stayed nice and crispy. The chicken korma was great too. Bread basket is the way to go - big portion (great for a family).
Will definitely be ordering from here again! So good! Angela L.

Delicious food. This is some of the best Indian food outside of Queens. We enjoy the quality and the food is all spiced and prepared properly. It's also not too greasy which is a problem at other Indian restaurants I've tried in Nassau County.
Thank you for doing a good job with the takeout during COVID. The tamper evident tape on the bag is a nice touch too. It would be nice if your basmati rice had even a few specs of saffron for color and subtle flavor. That little touch goes a long way IMO.

What a fantastic endeavor. Raagini blew us away with authentic yet complex Indian flavors. Each member of our party had a different meal, and each was better than the last. The #2 samosa appetizer was incredible and layered with flavor upon flavor. Definitely recommend this place for a nice, generously portioned family meal. Our server Raj was attentive and polite and recommended special sides that complemented our entrees superbly. 10/10

I love this Indian restaurant. The food tastes so delicious and fresh and I love the way they make their palak paneer. We were seated extremely fast and didn't even realize this place was BYOB so next time I'm definitely bringing myself some wine!
The interior is so beautiful and it truly reminds me of India (a home away from home). We ordered the garlic naan with butter chicken and Palak paneer. The portions were perfect and I can't wait to come by again soon!!

Hubby and I came here on a date night. Unfortunately I had to work hard here to avoid eating anything carby and the server thought it was weird that I didn't eat any rice, I simply told him rice isn't my thing. I was actually really craving meat but the churascuria I wanted to go to in Bellmore was closed.
The service was good here and I managed to find stuff that I didn't think was carby but may have been to eat. My appetizer was all meat and I was very happy about that.
Hubby seemed to enjoy his meal picks as well.
Just a tip they are BYOB here as far as bringing wine, I'm not sure if they have other drinks available. Since my nutrition plan that I'm following isn't torture enough starting on December 26 I'm going gluten and dairy free but will still be eating meat, so if I come back here I'll have to bring my own wine since a lot of beer has gluten in it.

This is my local go to Indian restaurant. I have dined in and had great service, as well as regularly order take out. The staff is very nice and the food is delicious. If you are new to this cuisine, they are very helpful with ordering and will make accommodations for your taste. I love the chicken vindaloo. It is definitely a spicy dish so I cool it off by mixing it with the plain rice. The Naan Bread is also quite good. I have ordered a lot of dishes and none have disappointed.

Same owners as Color of Spice. I haven't dined in, but I've been eating take out here for years. Everything tastes great. Their Viryani, Saag, Curries and Mushroom Masaledar are delicious. Don't forget to use the sauce on the side that comes with the extra spicy delicious Jerk Kebab. For most dishes one has the option to make mild, medium or hot.

Food is insanely delicious! Couldn't stop talking about how good their food were. Our favorite is their appetizer, samosa chaat.
We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. It is a small cozy sit down dining. We were quickly accomodated by Raj who was so nice during our stay. Service was great too.

You HAVE to go here. It.is. AMAZING! Almost no other Indian food I've have had even compares to this place. I am a vegetarian and there are plenty of options. My boyfriend eats meat, and he is always so happy with his food there as well.
Samosa chaat is the best appetizer! The flavors of everything are always so spectacular. And the service is always great, people are so friendly.

Raagini is my go to for Indian cuisine. I've been dining in and getting take out since they first opened. I can't believe I haven't given Raagini the 5 star review that they so well deserved. Believe me when I say they have made an impact on local food culture. Raagini is the original location and in a few years they have opened 2 other locations in the area, Color of Spices in Rockville Center, along with Tandoor Grill in Long Beach. That statement alone let's you know that Raagini is the real deal and seriously serving up some amazing food.
Raagini has amazing service, they are always happy to explain the menu and help you out. The last time I dined in with a few friends they even modified the recipe of a few dishes because of a food allergy. Which really shows they are willing to go above and beyond to not only please , but also help out their customers.
Raagini is a very clean restaurant with some awesome decor. Inside it has such a warm and the feel of being in an Indian themed palace. It's also BYOB and they are more than happy to provide you with a glass. Once again amazing service. Also always quick whether your dining in or taking out.
The service is top notch but the food is really where the magic comes from. You basically can't go wrong. They make so many different curries and it'll be tough to find one you like most. They are all delicious and amazing in their own ways. I can't pick one curry which is my favorite, all depends on my mood. I like ordering the bread basket to enjoy the curries with or one of my go to dishes Chicken tikka masala. I also love the vegetable samosa, which are surprisingly light, crispy and flavorful. I also love the lamb biryani which is maybe my favorite dish.
Honestly just go with a few friends and share a bunch of dishes. You won't be disappointed, Raagini is the real deal!

Good Indian food. You won't be disappointed. Good service . All the curries are delicious my favorite dish is butter chicken. Creamy and rich. Can eat it straight up with the naan. Everything I've eaten from here has been good. Definitely an A grade

My wife and I came here for dinner on a rainy Tuesday night. There were only two other customers in the dining room. We were greeted and seated right away.
We have been here a few times before and always had a great experience. We ordered a mango lassi to share. Very nice and was a nice start. My wife ordered lamb korma and I ordered kadai chicken. Both dishes were delicious!
Staff was very nice and professional, especially Vijay our waiter. He was very friendly and attentive.
A very good dining experience. We are very thankful for this Indian restaurant in Baldwin. It is more convenient than driving to Hicksville or Queens. We will definitely be back.

I absolutely love this place. Not all indian restaurants master the taste of indian food. This place knows what they're doing! It is a small restaurant but the food is absolutely delicious. A little on the pricy side but it is so worth it! The food isn't oily and spices are just perfect!

So glad I tried this place out! I've lived down the block forever and finally got it for takeout. I love spicy food, so I ordered the lamb vindaloo with a side of garlic naan, and it looked, smelled, and tasted amazing. My one quip would be that the rice was just ..eh, but I'd totally get from here again anyway

Was introduced to Raagini by Tom C. and attended a group dinner last night with 10 friendly and hungry folks run by La, our host for the event. It stands out on Atlantic Ave in Baldwin with all the outside lighting and big sign. Because parking is non existant on the south side of Atlantic we had to park across the street in the strip mall parking lot. After playing car tag with the speeding vehicles, Bonnie G. and I did our best to not get hit and made it safely to the other side. It was worth the effort! Raagini is a cozy Indian restaurant that is brightly decorated and a comfortable place to meet and greet before an outstanding meal. The BYOB is supported with wine glasses placed on the table and is a tremendous plus when figuring the final bill....
Bonnie and I shared a Samosa Chaat which looked great and tasted better! They place a gratis basket of seasoned crisps on the table an cups of chutney to dip it in...was good!
For mains we ordered Goat Jalfrezi spicy...Delicious... Bonnie G. got the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was the best she had ever had!
Others in the group ordered Lamb Jalfrezi, Chicken Korma, Lamb Rogan Josh, Bombay Crab Cakes, Shrimp Korma, Jaffrani Pilaf, Veggy Jalfrezi, Mushroom Saag, goat Vindaloo and Tandoori Shrimp. The great food was supported by great service...food came with good timing and staff was pleasant. And Basmati Rice came with our entres....no extra charge
All the dishes looked terrific and everyone complimented the preparation and presentation, We had plenty of vino to compliment the food so a great time was had by all...We will all be returning to this gem in the near future to enjoy more perfectly prepared ethnic dishes!!!

One of my favorite Indian restaurants of all time. Every dish is prepared with perfect flavor and always a real treat to enjoy. We ordered in and got butter chicken, chicken tikka marsala, and three types of Naan (onion, garlic and paneer/cheese) and side of mango chutney. Absolutely delicious. Looking forward to ordering again soon. Delivery came on time and hot and well packaged too. Totally recommend!!

My experience is based solely on grubhub delivery alone. I ordered vegetable samosas, paneer tikka masala, and papadum.
Paneer tikka masala was delicious but definitely lacking in paneer for the price. Small pieces of paneer. But flavor was good! The rice that came with it..... not the best. Not great. Wish I just made my own rice.
Samosas were crunchy and delicious. Papadum is my favorite so I was happy they offer it as a side. The food was also delivered 5-10 minutes before expected.
